A Year in the Life of… My Hair?!

A year ago I made a huge life change. I cut my hair. Short. See, I used to have really long hair and I decided that I needed a change. This is what my hair looked like on the day that I cut it off. This was not even the longest that my hair has ever been.

After I cut my hair a year ago it was the shortest my hair had been in probably over 10 years. I actually quite loved having it short. It took almost no time at all to curl my hair and it was so much easier as there was so much less of it to do. Here is what it looked like in December 2015.

This was literally taken straight after the hairdresser so of course my hair looks fabulous 😉 I also changed my hair colour which you can probably tell!

On the same day but exactly a year later I took some photos of my hair so that I could do a side by side comparison to see how long my hair has grown. I also changed my hair colour (which I love by the way!) I should also mention that my hair has definitely looked better than in these photos! Also, I was not wearing any makeup this day. Now my hair is naturally straight but we were at an outdoor event and it was quite windy so my hair kind of went all over the place.

Since these photos were taken (3 weeks ago), I have changed my hair again. Okay, I just got a small trim so there isn’t much of a change in that department. But I did go blonder! I am in love with it; it is something that I have been wanting to do for ages! Also, seeing these pictures side by side shows me just how much blonder I am!

So there is the life of my hair over the past year! Have you made any big hair transformations or done anything crazy before? Let me know in the comments below!

I love seeing hair transformations like this! And I did the very same thing just a few months ago to mine (cut it real, real short) while it used to be superrr long. Cutting it was such a love/hate thing, but I love change! BTW, your blog is beautiful!
