Beauty Review: Sorbet Colour Protect Treatment

Ever since I started dying my hair blonde it hasn’t been as healthy as it once was. Obviously. I mean going from brunette to blonde is going to damage your hair to some extent. My hairdresser is fantastic so it’s nowhere near as bad as it could be though!

I have been looking for a hair mask for a while now and when I saw this one I thought it sounded good. The Sorbet Smooth My Colour Intense Treatment comes in a 250ml tub and claims to protect and enhance colour treated hair. I was unsure about how this would work, and if it would work, but I thought it couldn’t hurt so I bought one to try it out.

This product smells amazing! Sorbet really make sure that their products always smell amazing and this was no exception. After using this product just once I could feel the change in my hair. Ever since I went blonde I struggled to brush my hair after washing it but this product made that job so much easier! It also made my hair a lot silkier and smoother.

You apply this to your hair before you wash it and leave it on for 10 minutes. The smell is so strong that I can even smell it after I have washed my hair – and my shampoo has a strong scent so  you can just imagine how strong this is. Don’t get me wrong though, like I said it does smell amazing so I am happy with that.

My hair is quite long so I used a fair amount of the product but I managed to get almost 7 uses out of this tub. I bought mine at Clicks and it was around R130. When you think about how much single sachets cost this was definitely worth the money.

Would I recommend the Sorbet Smooth My Colour Intense Treatment? Absolutely. Without a doubt. If your hair has been coloured and you are looking for a good mask, I recommend this one!
