Blogmas Day 23 – The Christmas Tag

christmas-tag-min

Christmas is in TWO days! That’s right…two! I cannot believe that the day is almost here. Before I settle into the Christmas routines I thought that I would do The Christmas Tag. I love a good tag and seeing as it is Christmas the timing is pretty perfect 😉

What is your favourite Christmas movie?

This is a tough one because there are so many, I do love The Grinch and Elf though!

Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Sadly not. I live in South Africa so it is hot every Christmas!

Where do you usually spend your holiday?

We normally stay at home but we spend Christmas Eve with my mum and Christmas Day with my dad.

What is your favourite Christmas song?

All I Want for Christmas is You is a firm favourite. I am not even a Mariah fan however this song gets me all ready for Christmas!

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

Sometimes we open one…just one. But no more than that.

Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen, Rudolph

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake. We don’t get proper real Christmas trees here and if we do then I have not seen them. So a fake tree is just easier to decorate and looks prettier!

What is your all time favourite holiday treat/food/sweet?

Hmm…definitely roast potatoes. I also love mince pies and custard because there really is no more festive food than a good old mince pie.

Be honest, do you prefer giving gifts or receiving gifts?

Both. I love getting presents but I also love giving. Buying presents for people is honestly my favourite thing!

What is the best Christmas present you have ever received?

There are so many good ones so I couldn’t possibly just pick one.

What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

England! London is my favourite place in the world and I would love to spend Christmas there!

Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably?

I like to think that I am a bit of a pro. I mean I love wrapping presents and if I buy 5 different things for someone I love wrapping them all separately.

Most memorable Christmas moment?

Hmm maybe when my sisters and I spent Christmas in Thailand. We did nothing that we would normally do for Christmas but it was such a good day and it was a lot of fun.

What made you realise the truth about Santa?

I don’t understand the question? What is this truth you speak of?

What makes the holidays special for you?

Everything. I just love everything about Christmas. But the thing that I probably love the most is Christmas Eve dinner and then going to Midnight Mass. That is how I know that Christmas is really here.

So there are my answers to The Christmas Tag. Have you done The Christmas Tag before? If you have then let me know in the comments below!

Love,

Kirsty x
