Restaurant Review: Company Social Brasserie

My friends and I always go to the same places when we go out to eat so when one of my friends suggested Company Social Brasserie we decided to give it a try. I had read mixed reviews so I honestly had no idea what to expect. In short – this place is amazing.

The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the outside of the restaurant is. It looks very upmarket and there is someone that greets you at the door. Everyone was very friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere.

I started off with a Lemon and Lime Ice Tea – this was very refreshing but I felt as though it was lacking flavour. It definitely could have had a bit more. There was also a lot of ice and when this melted it became even less flavourful.

For lunch I had the Margherita pizza. This was delicious! I normally find pizzas with a thin base very flimsy but this one wasn’t. It was probably one of the best pizzas I have had. My friends also said that their food was delicious as well! My only problem is that there isn’t a lot of food for vegetarians on the menu so there wasn’t that much for me to choose from.

During lunch we also had ice coffees. Now my friends and I get coffee and ice coffee often so we know our stuff! This was very good but I think that there could have been a bit more coffee in it. There was also a hint of a nutty flavour in it – and my friends tasted it as well so I am not going crazy haha!

This restaurant is right on the beach so the views are absolutely stunning. We have beautiful beaches where I live! The prices of the food are fairly reasonable and the ice tea was only R17 which is actually really inexpensive. The ice coffee was R39 which is a bit steep but it is a beach restaurant so I’ll go with that being the reason.

If you are in Port Elizabeth then I would definitely recommend this restaurant. They have really good food and the atmosphere is really chilled as well.

Oh it looks so good, love a good Margherita pizza! I’ve recently found a little brunch cafe in my hometown Glasgow called the Wilson Street Pantry and it’s my fave at the moment! x

This looks so delish! I’m a big fan of iced coffee too and often notice certain places do ones that have a nutty flavour but can never work out what it is. Sometimes I’m like are they using almond milk? Because when I’ve made iced coffees before at home I’ve tried it with almond milk and been like nope gross tastes too nutty?! Who knows. Will definitely add this to my list of places to eat because it looks adorable though! Such great photos!

Thank you! I have no idea what the nutty taste was but it was the first time I had tasted it like that! I should try and make my own but quite honestly I get a bit lazy haha! x

This post made me want to be on the beach, not stuck on a college campus!

Oh no! Our campus is actually pretty close to the beach so lots of people would go there during their breaks haha!

I usually have 2 drinks on my breakfast meal. ? but no drinks for lunch or dinner. It’s such a disappointment when a drink is less flavored! I do go to taste the same drink in many coffee shops to finally decided which drink I can rely on. The weather and beach looks amazing.

Absolutely! I also like tasting the same drink everywhere I go. Then at least I know where to go for the best haha! Thank you for the comment! x
