Food Review: Woolworths Food Yoghurt

Seriously, Kirsty, you’re reviewing yoghurt? Well yes, yes I am. When I went into Woolworths the other day I came across the most peculiar yoghurt. There were 3 different flavours and I picked two of them up to try. The reason I am calling this ‘food yoghurt’ is because the yoghurt flavours have fruit, as usual, but they also have vegetables mixed in with them. That’s a pretty peculiar combination in my books and it is also something completely new to me.

The two flavours that I bought were Beetroot and Strawberry , as well as Butternut and Mango. I was not sure how they would taste but I figured that they might have potential. Because I love all of you so  much I have tried them both for you 😉

I started off with the Beetroot and Strawberry one. The colour was really pretty which immediately made me happy (I am a very visual eater). This one had quite an earthy taste to it. I like sweet things and this one didn’t have enough sweetness for my liking. If you don’t really like sweet things then this might work for you! It wasn’t completely unpleasant, and I have had worse food before, but it also was not the best. I added strawberries and one spoon of sugar to mine and it was so much better!

Would I purchase this flavour again?

Nope, while it wasn’t completely horrible, it wasn’t something I would voluntarily purchase again.

When I opened the Butternut and Mango yoghurt the colour was slightly less vibrant. I dipped my spoon into the tub and… it was so good! If you enjoy Purity (the baby food) then you will probably love this yoghurt. It was really delicious and I did not need to add anything else to this yoghurt. I could eat it just as it was.

Would I purchase this flavour again?

Yes, I would definitely purchase this one again.

Have you tried these yoghurts from Woolworths before before? Have you tried similar ones? What did you think of them? Would you ever try something like this? Let me know in the comments below!

Love,

Kirsty

How peculiar! The first one doesn’t really seem very appetizing, in my opinion, but the Butternut & Mango one seems like something I’d try. I love the yogurt review! x

I had the beetroot one and could not stomach more than 2 spoonfuls. I was keen to review them as well, but that one put me off from buying the others. lol.

I promise that the Mango one is so much better! It kind of tastes like Purity so if you like Purity then try it! If you don’t then I would steer clear haha!
