Before I get into the review properly I would like to say that I do believe there are 3 different palettes in the NYX Dream Catcher Palette range. I am going to be focusing on the Dusk til Dawn one. This is the one that I liked the best so when I asked for one for Christmas it had to be this one!
The colours in this palette are gorgeous. They are incredibly pigmented and all work beautifully together. I can definitely see myself creating a few really pretty looks with just this one palette! Unfortunately the shades don’t seem to have names but I have swatched all of the shades for you. I have separated them into the top row, and the bottom row – to make things easier.
Also, I have used my 7 year old sister’s arm for these photos because I realised that it was so much easier when I wasn’t trying to photograph my own arm haha!
The very bottom shade is quite dark. I am going to be brave enough to try it at some point but I am terrified haha! Also, the middle shade would make such a good highlighter. I would definitely recommend it for that – obviously as an eye shadow as well! I love the other 3 shades as they are all gold and coppery and those are my favourite types of shades!
Once again there is a very dark shade and this time it is the top one. It is very pretty but I need to work up the courage to try it! The other 4 shades are, once again, in my favourite shade range so I am excited to play around with these a little bit more. I particularly love the 3rd and 5th shades (from the top).
There was a little bit of fall out from this eye shadow but only in the palette itself. Once it was on the skin the fall out was minimal and the colours also stayed really well.
Have you used this NYX palette before? What is your favourite eye shadow palette? Let me know in the comments below!
