Mid-Year Roundup

Last year I would do a blog round up at the end of every month. I would mention my goals for page views for the following month as well as whether or not I achieved that months goals. I definitely found that it challenged me and made me a lot more aware of my blog goals but it also stressed me out because I would panic if it didn’t look like I was going to reach my goal.

This year I decided to forgo my monthly post and do a roundup halfway through the year. That brings us to this post and the end of June. I mean I cannot believe it is already the end of June, can you?!

My blog views for the past 6 months have been so low compared to last year. I don’t quite know why but I am trying to let it motivate me to just keep working even harder to achieve what I want to.

6 months ago I wrote a post about my blog goals for the year of 2017 If you would like to, you can read that over here.

Here are how things stand with my blog goals at the moment:

2017 goal: 50 subscribers

Progress: So far I think that I am 45 subscribers away. I find blog subscribers the most difficult thing to gain. Does anyone else feel this way or is is just me?! If you do want to help me out though you can do so to the right of this post.

2017 goal: 100 followers

Progress: 149 – I have reached this which I am pleased about but I wish some would transfer onto my actual blog, you know 😉

2017 goal: 300

Progress: I am currently on 248 and have got 40 new followers this year so I am on my way!

2017 goal: Blog Account – 1500

Personal Account – 600

Progress: Blog Account – Currently 1106

Personal Account – Currently 573

2017 goal: 100 followers

Progress: Currently at 92 followers

2017 goal: 4000

Progress: Currently at 3795 – twitter progress is so slow!

So I am well on my way to achieving most of my goals for this year but I could really do with some help! Here are my social media links if you want to help me out in any way!

Did you set any goals for 2017? How are you getting on with them? How can I help out? Let me know in the comments below!

This is a great idea! We all have these kind of blog/ social media goals in our head but until we formalise them they are so tricky to track! I am actually going to go home tonight and work out some goals for myself.
Think I will be focusing on page views, instagram and twitter. You have so many goals! I don’t know how you do it all!!

Oh my, I never thought of goals. I just wanted to get it up and running and blogging regularly you know? I would like more than my current two followers but while I seem to be gaining followers on Istagram and Twitter, it’s so slow going otherwise. I guess my goal is keep on keeping on and learning more about what I can do.

Gaining blog followers is the most difficult thing I think. But as long as people are reading and enjoying your blog and you’re enjoying it then that’s the main thing! 🙂

This is such a relevant post! I’ve also started trying to set goals. You have over 3000 twitter followers??? Wow! I’m trying to get to 500 over here. Lol. You’re doing great! One day….One post at a time. Subscribers I’m not too stressed about for some reason. It’s not a number I’ve focused on.

I think I’m more focused on views and it stressed me out. Last month I met my goal, but insread of motivating me, it made me feel.deflated.entering a new month on 0 again. Lol.

Twitter is my main platform but I have been on there for 8 years so I have been building it up for a while haha! Views used to stress me out so much! I used to set monthly goals but it was far too much anxiety for me so I decided to stop! But that feeling of starting from 0 every month again is the worst!
