Mini Beauty Haul

As I was walking around the shops I told myself that I would only buy things that I really needed. I am happy to say that these bits were all (mostly) things that I have genuinely been looking for! Here is my mini beauty haul with my new beauty bits that I am so looking forward to trying.

I am going to start with the Micellar Cleansing Water because that is something that I use all the time and I needed a new one. It is an amazing product so if you have never tried it then pick up a bottle! Next I needed a new makeup sponge because my old one is pretty gross. So I picked up the Cala Make-Up Blending Sponge – I have not tried this brand before but I am keen to try it out and see how it is.

Over Christmas time I bought a contour palette but I have not used it because I never knew what brush to use. Today I found an Essence Contour Brush in the Me & My Umbrella range so I knew that I had to buy it. As with all of the other brushes by Essence the bristles are really soft and I cannot wait to use it!

Also in the Me & My Umbrella range was this absolutely stunning blush! The colour is so pretty but, if I am honest, it is probably the look of the blush with the quote that caught my attention. You Can Stand Under My Umbrella is the name of the shade and I am pretty much in love. Essence are really amazing at giving their blush unique looks for the ranges that they bring out.

The last product that I picked up is the Essence Colour Correcting Liquid Concealer. I got the one in the shade 30 – Pastel Green. The green concealer is supposed to neutralize redness so I hope that it does the job. I am also thinking of doing a whole post on my first impressions of this if anyone would be interested?

So that is my mini beauty haul of things that I picked up recently. Have you used any of these before? Would you like me to review any of them? Let me know in the comments below!

I love the Cala sponge. I haven’t picked up any of the new Essence goodies…that blush is so pretty!
