Photowall: A Review

I love home products. If it’s something that I can use in my home to make it look prettier then you can be sure I’m going to love it. So, you can imagine my excitement when I was contacted by Photowall and asked if I would be interested in a product for my home.

Photowall is a a Swedish wall art company that is passionate about helping you transform your home to reflect your personality. There are thousands of different designs to choose from. They are also very well organised into categories so it is really easy to find things. There is also a search option if you have something particular in mind. They also have different options to use from depending on what your preference is. You can choose between a wall mural, wallpaper, a poster, or a canvas print (which is what I chose).

I spent hours searching through the site trying to find the perfect picture. As there are thousands of options I had about 50 tabs open at a time to try and make my decision. I narrowed it down by deciding that I definitely wanted a city landscape of some sort. Imagine my surprise, and excitement, when I stumbled across one from Port Elizabeth, South Africa. For those of you who might not know this, that is where I am from! Now that I live in Poland I decided that this would be the perfect picture to have up in my home, just to remind me of back home and the places and people that I left behind.

You can choose the specifications that you want for your print and there are so many customisable options. You can really make your chosen picture the perfect fit for your home.

The delivery took just two days which is crazy! I was really impressed with how quickly it arrived. This also means that Photowall is perfect for any last minute gifts that you might have forgotten to buy 😉 So, if you’re a little impatient after doing online shopping, with Photowall you aren’t kept waiting for too long.

The canvas option comes with the canvas rolled up, wooden planks and screws. You then put the canvas together yourself. There is a helpful video online that shows you how to do this. This is also on the website so it’s not a surprise when you get it! I was excited to put it together and see how it would look. Honestly, I struggled a little bit with putting mine together. The pieces did not seem to fit together perfectly. however, I took it apart and tried again and this time it worked way better! I would recommend measuring the planks on the canvas before you stick them down – but now I know better for next time. It is also worth mentioning that you need no other tools to put this canvas together. The tape on the planks, and the screws, are all you need.

The screws at the back of the canvas are pretty sturdy so the canvas is going to stay exactly the way you build it! They are also easy to screw in and it really is an accomplishment when you see this canvas that you have put together yourself.

Honestly. I love having this canvas up in my home. it reminds me of home and, IT IS GORGEOUS! The colours are so bright and the quality of the product is really good. I would definitely be happy to have someone give this to me as a gift (hint, hint) and I would definitely gift one of these to someone else. I’m already trying to decide what product and print to get next!

Have you ever tried any of Photowall’s products before? Would you like to try them out? What would you get if you could get a print of anything? Let me know in the comments below!

This is such an awesome print and so nice that it has a special meaning too 🙂 I was lucky enough to review a canvas from Photowall a couple of years ago, I picked the paint splash map of the world. I love it, and it definitely brightens up my lounge! Thank you for sharing your brilliant review and gorgeous print too! <3 xx
