Quotes to Remember

Quotes are the perfect way to tell people things that we can’t explain. I honestly cannot count how many quotes I have saved on my phone. They’re a way for us to put our feelings into words in a way that we might just not be able to. Here are some of the quotes that I am loving at the moment, and the reason behind why I like them.

Love the life you live, live the life you love

If you don’t wake up every morning and love your life then that’s not the ideal, obviously. You only get one life and surely you want to life it in such a way that you feel in love. Now I know that some people say that they can’t afford to live the life they love and that’s okay. I figure as long as you are doing all you can to make it happen, that’s an accomplishment. Just don’t give up on it.

Many people die at twenty five and aren’t buried until they are seventy five

This really speaks to me because I don’t want this to be me. I don’t want to wake up 50 years from now and realise that life has passed me by and I have nothing to show for it. I want to start living each moment like it counts. Because at the end of the day, it does.

Sometimes we just have to let things go

This is the most difficult one for me. Now I am not a person that goes looking for revenge is someone does something to me, but I keep things inside for a long time. I remember a LOT of things and it really can be a problem. When someone has completely forgotten about something, or no longer cares, then what is the point in me holing onto it? The only person that gets eaten up by it is me.

Stay patient, and trust your journey

I’m not going to sit here and pretend that I live this quote every day. I don’t. Patience can be incredibly difficult when you know what you want but you are waiting for it to happen. At this point in my life I am just trusting that everything happens for a reason so patience is something I need to work on.

There’s a blessing in the storm

While you’re going through the storm it will be more difficult to figure out what the blessing is. But once the storm has passed and things start lightening up, you’ll start to see things a bit more clearly. you will start to realise that you went through what you did because there was something that you needed to learn.

So there are just a few of the quotes that I have been thinking about lately. I have done another post like this where I share a few different quotes. What are some quotes that have strong meaning to you in your life? Let me know in the comments below!

I’ve always loved the quote “everyday may not be good, but there is something good in every day”
