I wrote one of these posts about 2 years ago and I really enjoyed it so I though I would write one again. Even though Spring has already started I wanted to write down a list of things that I wanted to do during this time. I love checking things off a list so this is helpful!
I used to bake all the time back home but since I’ve been in Poland there has been no baking. NONE at all! I don’t have anything to bake with and no one to bake for. However, I plan on going to get some baking things this week and then I’ll be all set to start baking again.
Reading used to be one of my favourite things to do but since moving to Poland I haven’t read nearly as much as I used to. Part of this reason is because of the lack of reading material. However, I bought a new book while I was in Warsaw and I would love to go and sit in a coffee shop somewhere and just get tucked into it!
My everyday makeup is pretty much the same. I use the same products every day, with the exception of my eyeshadow. However I still always wear golds, and browns on my eyes. So for Spring I would love to experiment with some colourful eyeshadows, something a little bit different. However this means that I will actually need to go and buy some 😉
Buy and wear a flower crown
There are so many beautiful flower crowns at the market in the square yet I’ve never bought one. If I can’t find a flower crown that I love I’ll be glad to settle for a flower alice band. Either way I want to add a bit of spring to my wardrobe and I can’t think of a better, and prettier, way.
This one is more of a NEED and not Spring specific but I feel like it will also encourage me to do this! While I often have a mental plan of what I’m going to make I don’t often stick to it. I guess it’s easier to change your mind about something when it’s not written down. However, I really want to start meal planning again so I guess now is as a good a time as any to start!
I need to try and do my hair differently now that the weather is getting warmer. I can’t just wear my hair loose and call it a day. So I am going to take some time from my last few days of holiday and practice some hairstyles that will be perfect for Spring.
Eat more fruit and vegetables
This will go hand in hand with meal planning in a way. I find it so difficult to buy fruit and vegetables for one person because I feel like so much of it goes bad before I get a chance to eat it. Does anyone else feel like this? I guess it just means I need to go to the shops more regularly to get fresh produce!
I am going to be taking photographs of every one of these things so that I can do a post at the end of Spring and share how many I managed to achieved. Hopefully it will be all of them.
