Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year. The minute it is over I look forward to the next year! There is just something about Christmas that makes everything a little bit better. So yes, I love the festive season, but what do I love the most? Well there is a lot but I am here to tell you a few things!
Clothes
I always make sure that my hair and makeup are done for Christmas Eve! I also always wear a really cute outfit because it is, after all, a special occasion. It is normally very hot so I usually wear a dress and then just add some heels. I actually did a post on Christmas jumpers yesterday if you are looking for something to wear! Do you normally wear anything special?
Food
Our family generally has a pretty big Christmas Eve feast! We have been known to have 7 different puddings! We also have roast potatoes every year and, in case you don’t know by now, potatoes are my favourite. So the food is definitely a big draw card for me. What do you normally eat?
Gifts
My love language is gifts! That means you can show me that you love me with gifts BUT it also means that I show people I care about them by giving gifts to them! This means that shopping for presents is honestly one of my favourite things to do!
Mass
We normally go to Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve and before that we have Carols inside the church. We go after we have had our Christmas Eve meal and this gets me all prepared and ready for the next day! On the way to and from Mass we even sing Carols in the car in preparation! It really is a lot of fun!
Music
On the first of December I started listening to Christmas music in the car! I mean there might still be 3 weeks until Christmas but I am well into the festive spirit already! I have about 10 different CDs and I alternate between all of them.
So there are some of the things that I love! I could have made a much longer list but I didn’t know if anyone would enjoy reading it 😉

I love the food too!! My mom always makes chocolate cream cheese pies during the holidays. But my favorite part is rocking out to Motown Christmas Carols!! The party never stops!

I love Christmas music and movies. In my house, they get saved for the season. So because I have a limited time to watch time, not all year long, I appreciate the music and movies more. Even if I can recite them in my sleep.

I didn’t know you were doing Blogmas… That’s bad because I feel like I should’ve known, but the good thing is that I have more of your posts to catch up on now 😀
I guess my favorite thing is decorating the tree with my mom 🙂

Oooh, I love all of these as well! We do our big meal on Christmas Day rather than Christmas Eve, and I make a standing rib roast for my entire family! The best part is that I don’t have to clean up! I try to change into nice clothes before sitting down to eat, but my hair always looks a little crazy after all that cooking in a hot crowded kitchen!

I completely understand the hair bit! It is summer here over Christmas and trying to do my hair is horrid as it is just too hot!

Also totally agree about the gifting, it’s my favourite for the same reasons <3 For me I love opening my stocking and seeing my family's faces when they unwrap my presents and see what I got them – I know that sounds so commercial but I love surprising people! xx

I enjoyed reading your list of Christmas favourites! I love Christmas songs and I feel like they help me to get in the festive mood. I also like to go to midnight mass and going for breakfast afterwards. There is something special about drinking hot chocolate and pancakes at 3 in the morning haha 🙂

I also always attend a Christmas Eve Mass although we normally go to the children’s mass earlier in the evening to see the Nativity scene with all the kids…so cute!

I love Christmas too! The holidays are definitely my favorite time of year. I love all the festivity, joyfullness, and family time. I’m from NYC so it’s usually cold on Christmas but I too love to get my hair and nails down and pick out a cute Christmas outfit. We usually cook our big meal for Christmas Day, and I’m looking forward to that food right now.
Ah I also love getting dressed up and doing my makeup over Christmas. Hopefully it isn’t too hot this year to look cute haha! x
