I am not going to be one of those people that says “I cannot believe January is FINALLY finished.” I mean I personally don’t think that January took forever. Did it go super quickly? No. But it was a pretty normal month for me. I think it’s because I have been SO busy at work that I haven’t really even noticed what day I am experiencing. Anyway, it is over and that means that I can share my monthly favourites with you.
I was recently overseas for a month and this is the only eyeshadow palette that I took with me. This is the NYX Dream Catcher Palette in the shade Dusk til Dawn (which is actually the song I am listening to as I type this! Zayn? Yes, please 😍). Anyhoo, moving on. It is such a gorgeous palette. It is long wearing and the shades work so well together!
This Essence Make-Up fixing spray is super refreshing and I do feel as though it definitely helps your makeup stay on longer. It doesn’t leave any residue and it doesn’t add any extra weight to your face. I have also been using this pretty much every day.
I bought this Carmex because it was on special and I love it. It works really well and I have been using it so much lately. I swear it doesn’t look it – but I have!
One of my January favourites is Disney. Now, this might seem like a bit of a cheat because I was actually only in Disney on the 1st January. I was there for the New Years Party (which was AMAZING!) and after the party (on the 1st January) my sister and I did some shopping. But it still counts. Man, I love Disney so much and being able to go back to Disneyland Paris was incredible. One of my favourite places…ever!
Last but not least, Leonidas Chocolate. My sister and I were in Brussels for a few days and I bought so much chocolate! Their chocolate is absolutely delicious! I deifnitely boguht more than I needed to but it was on special so how could I not?! I bought these chocolate balls, snowmen, and Christmas trees. These chocolate balls were just the easiest to photograph!
There are some of the things that I loved in January 2018. What made it into your January favourites? Let me know in the comments below!
