I love being a blogger and I love having a blog. However, I don’t always get the time to blog as much as I would like to. The past few weeks have been so busy. We are already halfway through the school term and I feel as though there is still so much to do. I have been struggling to cope with work as well as blogging and so, unfortunately, blogging has had to take a back seat. That doesn’t make me happy, but it is just part of the real world where I have a paying job that I need to do; before I can blog.
Instagram? I cannot remember the last time I even posted on there. I certainly don’t have enough pictures to post every day. Even though the algorithm has made me enjoy Instagram less I still enjoy posting and scrolling through it. Twitter has been a bit better but even on there I haven’t been posting all that much. Facebook is something that I always neglect – I normally only use it to post blog links. I want to make it more interactive though.
No one might notice that I miss an upload or if I only post late at night but I’ll know. I will know that I have failed to be the blogger that I want to be. That might not matter to anyone else but it does matter to me. The next month and a half are not going to be quiet by any stretch of the imagination. But I am going to do my best.
I have 4 weeks left of the school term and then I am leaving for Europe for a month but I am going to do my best to schedule WAY in advance. Also, Blogmas – I have already written 7 posts and I am actually excited about it! I love doing Blogmas so it’ll be a challenge but it is one that I am looking forward to.
So there it is. Yes, I don’t upload my posts at 09:00 every day and sometimes my blog post comes at some ridiculous hour but the point is, I’m trying. And until life calms down (around January next year) that’s all I can really do.
Love,
Kirsty x
My darling, you have not failed as a blogger, the beauty of the blogging world is that there are absolutely no rules. Taking a break or slowing things down is a healthy part of life and sometimes just has to be done so you don’t burn out!
I’m excited you’re doing blogmas again this year and I look forward to reading all your content (late or not) so don’t be disheartened
Kisses and love

Thank you so much! I know that I put way too much pressure on myself and it’s not the best thing – but I cannot help it. This is probably a blessing in disguise for me but it’s hard to see it that way at the moment x
