Mini-Me Unboxing and Review

I was approached by a wonderful company called Mini-Me and asked if I would be interested in creating my own Lego Mini-Me. Obviously I jumped at the chance. I love Lego and what could be cooler than creating a character that looks like me – that I can keep forever?!

Creating this Mini-Me was so much fun! There are so many different items to choose from that I really struggled to decide! After spending ages on the website I finally decided on what I wanted my Mini-Me to look like.

You might notice that I am currently blonde. However, I decided to make my Mini-Me a brunette. This was for two reasons. One, I liked this hairstyle the most out of all of the ones that were in stock so I chose to rather have a realistic hairstyle rather than choose something I would never wear. And the second reason is that I am naturally a brunette and will probably go back there one day so I wanted my Mini-Me to have the same colour.

Then came another tough decision. What accessories did my Mini-Me need?! This was possibly even more difficult than creating the character itself.

As a blogger I felt as though I definitely needed a laptop and a camera. I mean those are two things that I use on a regular basis and, for me, are very necessary to my blogging journey. The laptop even opens which is adorable!

Next I thought about the fact that I am a teacher. Every morning I take a travel mug to work with me and it is usually filled with tea. I knew that my Mini-Me needed some kind of a travel mug because it really is something that I use every day.

Last but not least, the superhero lover came out in me. How could I scroll past Captain America’s shield and NOT add it to my basket. Captain America is my favourite superhero so if I can pay tribute to him by rocking his shield then I felt that I needed to!

You pay for every piece of your character separately but the great thing is you can order a few different pieces and then mix and match. If you would like to you can also order a preset gift which are so cool.

Here are my overall thoughts on my Mini-Me Lego experience:

• It is a bit smaller than I expected HOWEVER I am not sure why I thought otherwise because it is the size of a normal Lego character. Which would make sense being as how this is Lego.
• The pieces look exactly as they do on the website so you really get what you see.
• The accessories are adorable!
• The delivery time is really good. I ordered mine on the Tuesday and I received my figure on the Saturday – in the same week!
• This is the perfect gift for someone if you have no idea what to get for them!
