7 years ago I moved to Poland with no idea of what to expect. I’d never even been to Poland before and I had very limited knowledge about the country. However, I knew I wanted to live in Europe and this gave me a great way to do that.
The last 7 years have been filled with so many adventures. I have made some amazing memories that I will never forget. Even though it has been tough at times, I’m so glad that I made the leap. Moving to Poland taught me a lot about myself, and it allowed me to grow so much as a person.
Another cool thing I did in Poland? I went to concerts! Shoutout to Harry Styles and P!nk. Not forgetting Disney on Ice. I guarantee I’ve forgotten something, but trying to fit 7 years of memories into one post is impossible. So I guess I’ll have to write more?

While living in Poland, I got to travel a lot. I visited so many new countries and took loads of photos. One thing about living in Europe is that you’re able to travel a lot, and there are always cheap flights to somewhere! I’m going to be writing some more about my travel experiences as soon as I can. I’m so grateful that I got to travel as much as I did, although I’m definitely keen to keep travelling! I have such a long list of places I sill have to see.
2 years ago I moved from Kraków to Warsaw and that was a big adjustment. I had to take a bus to work (2 actually) whereas before I’d walked. Everything was so far away, and making friends was more difficult. Both cities have pros and cons, but Kraków will always hold a special place in my heart – sorry, Warsaw.

This year I decided to say goodbye to Poland and it was more difficult than I expected it to be. You see, I made some good friends in Poland and good friends are hard to find (trust me, I’ve tried). However, I know that if a friendship is strong enough, the bond will still be there, even if you don’t see each other every day. I feel blessed knowing that I made some good friends there and that’s one amazing experience I wouldn’t change for anything.

Let’s do a quick recap of my time in Poland:
buses taken: countless
cafés discovered: probably about 100
cups of coffee consumed: far too many
places travelled: not enough
people I’ll miss: a special few
Where am I going to go next? I guess you’ll just have to follow along for the journey to find out.
