A while ago you might remember that I won some lovely Essence makeup from My Spreadsheet Brain. I have been super excited to try it. Instead of just trying it out, I am doing a full face of Essence makeup using the products that I won. Of course I had to blog it and today is the day! I did cheat a little bit because I used other makeup that I did not win, however it is still Essence so I figure that is okay!
I started off using the Essence Camouflage 2 in 1 Make-Up and Concealer in the shade Ivory Beige. After that I used the Get Picture Ready Brightening Concealer in Ivory. My skin is pretty pale but these two products worked perfectly with my skin tone! I was very impressed, and I also love the way they went onto my skin. They both blended very well! I then used the Essence All About Matt Fixing Compact Powder. This is a firm favourite of mine and never disappoints.

For my eyes I used the Essence Contouring Eyeshadow in the shade Mauve meets Marshmallows. The lighter shade is the highlight and the darker is the contour. I didn’t do anything else to my eyes in terms of colour and just used this. It is beautiful! The blush is from the Winter Wonderful range in the shade 01 – Winter Kissed Cheeks.
For my eyelashes I used the I <3 Extreme mascara. This is one of my favourite mascaras because it gives your lashes both length and volume.

For my lips I used the Essence 2 in 1 Matt Lipstick and Liner in the shade Make Some Noise. It is such a gorgeous colour however, the tip broke as I was applying it which was disappointing! It could be that it was too hot and it melted? I am not sure what happened but it is definitely still usable!

Please excuse my final photo because it is very difficult to take a decent photo with a giant camera (any volunteers?!) so it is not the best! But here is the final look. It is a pretty simple look but I love it. I even used Essence Makeup brushes!

Do you wear Essence makeup? If so, what is your favourite product? What do I need to try? Have you tried any of these? Let me know in the comments below!
Love,
Kirsty x
I’m still yet to try this brand but when I see an Essence stand I’ll pick up some bits. I’m loving the pop of colour on the lips, brightens everything up and is a perfect spring colour <3
Stay beautiful <3
