Last year I decided to treat myself to the I Heart Revolution Tasty Christmas Hamper. I saw it and liked the look of it and then it went on sale… Obviously I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I also thought that it would be good because I had not tried many products by Revolution Beauty and this had many products in it so I knew that I would get to try out a few different things. On top of all of that, it was Christmas themed, and anyone who knows me knows how much I love Christmas!
Gingerbread Man Bath Bomb and Almond Bath Cream
Neither of these seem to have much of a scent but that might change once I actually use them. However, the gingerbread man is adorable!
Lip Stick and Lip Gloss
From what I can see on the packaging, the lip stick is in the shade ‘Gingerbread’ and the lip gloss is in the shade ‘Cranberry.’ These are both lovely shades and both a little darker than I normally wear so I am excited to try something new.
Cranberry Jelly Pie Tasty Palette
This highlighter palette is gorgeous. I absolutely love the shades. My concern with this is that the shades are a little dark for me. I would likely use the pink colour and the other one might be used as a shimmer eyeshadow!
Cranberry Fixing Spray and Beauty Blending Sponge
Fixing spray is a necessity in my makeup kit, and I apply my foundation with a blending sponge. I have never tried the sponges from Revolution Beauty so I am excited for this one. I can’t say that I love the colour but I can live with it!
Pumpkin Pie Tasty Palette
I have been using this palette for about a month now and I love it. The pigment of these eyeshadows is insane. I would say that the colour comes out a bit darker than the way it looks in the pan so that was a bit of a shock the first time I tried it. However, they stay on pretty well throughout the day and the colours work so well together. They are also fairly easy to blend and the colour doesn’t just completely disappear when you blend the shadows which is amazing.
Gingerbread Tasty Palette
To be honest, I have not tried this palette yet. I think that I need some new makeup brushes otherwise I would need to wash them every day after using the Pumpkin Pie palette. The shades in this palette are gorgeous and something different to what I am used to using so I am excited for something different!
That is everything that you get in the Revolution Beauty Christmas Hamper. I absolutely love everything and I am excited to play around with the eyeshadows a bit more. If they bring out another one of these this year I will definitely be buying one. It has also made me a lot more open to buying more Revolution Beauty products as now I can trust that they are good quality!
