I recently went away for a much needed weekend break to a lovely place in Plettenberg Bay. The Forever Resort in Plettenberg Bay is such a lovely place for a getaway and very family friendly.
This resort is like being in a forest and is so peaceful and quiet. There are also quite a few areas that are perfect for families. At the resort they have:
- Putt Putt
- Swimming Pool
- Trampoline
- Children’s play area
The above are just some of the attractions on offer.
The bedrooms are fairly small, especially for two people, but as you only really need them for sleeping it isn’t really a problem. There are 3 bedrooms – two of them have 2 single beds and the other room has a double bed.They also all come with two towels, a hand and bath towel for each person. The towels all have embroidery with the logo of the Forever Resort.
There is a lovely living area that comes with a TV and a few DSTV channels. The chalet has a decent sized kitchen that comes with all of the appliances that are really necessary. It has all of the cutlery you might need and the plates also have the resort’s logo on them.
There is a nice braai area outside with a table and chairs as well. The view from this area is so peaceful and it really takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Apart from the branding on the towels and plates they even put it on the toilet paper in the form of a sticker! We also got complimentary shampoo, body lotion and a soap but my sister and her friend got stuck into those before I was able to take a photo.
The bathroom was quite big and there was a separate shower and bath. They led on from one another though so it is unlikely that you could have someone using each one at the same time. I was going to show photos of this as well but I don’t really think photos of a bathroom are necessary!
There is a lake nearby which is beautiful and so peaceful. This is also where you will find some of the above mentioned activities!

I’m always on the hunt for gorgeous hotels and places to stay, this looks amazing. If I’m ever in the area on one of my future trips I’ll certainly head over and possibly book to stay here, looks so relaxing and not over the top like some resorts.
