I love these posts. It gives me a chance to share my favourite products with you, as well as the ones that I probably won’t buy again. Here are my latest beauty empties.
Blistex DCT (Daily Conditioning Treatment)
Blistex DCT (Daily Conditioning Treatment)Verdict: This is, hands down, my favourite lip treatment product. It works incredibly well and it seems to last forever.
Would I Repurchase? Definitely. No question.
Essence Mattifying Compact Powder
Verdict: I stopped using this product for ages and when I started again realised just how much I love it. It really made my skin look good but it did make me look a bit tanned at the end of the day.
Would I Repurchase? Probably not. the product is very good, but the lightest shade still seemed a little bit too dark for me.
NYX Stay Matte but Not Flat Foundation
Verdict: This foundation lasted well throughout the day and felt very lightweight on my skin.The colour did seem to darken throughout the day but it didn’t look completely ridiculous. Also, I cut the tube open when it was “finished” and got so much more wear out of it.
Would I Repurchase? Possibly. The formula is great but I am now using a different foundation that works better for my skin tone so we will see.
Nivea Double Effect
Verdict: This smells so good! Also it works really well so it is definitely a win for me.
Would I Repurchase? Yes. This has become my regular deodorant.
Sorbet Refresh Body Wash and Reveal Body Scrub
Verdict: This range smells amazing. I have had so many of these products and I have some more still to use. I would definitely recommend you trying these products!
Would I Repurchase? Absolutely. I have not actually purchased any of these – they have all been gifts. But I would purchase them.
Veet Hair Removal Cream
Verdict: This works so well! I stopped using it for ages but now I cannot get enough. I use it all the time.
Would I Repurchase? Definitely. I already have.
Clean and Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash
Verdict: This worked well but, after a while, I found that it started leaving my skin a bit dry.
Would I Repurchase? Nope, I don’t think so. I have another product that I am using now.
Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturiser
Verdict: This is amazing. it leaves me skin feeling so soft and smooth. Also, I cut the bottle open to try and get one more day from it (I was too lazy to go buy some more) and I ended up getting another 2 weeks from it. So, cut the tubes open before throwing your products away!
Would I Repurchase? Definitely. This has become part of my daily routine now.
Kadus Professional Shampoo and Conditioner
Verdict: I bought this when I went blonde.This smelt really good and it made my hair feel nice but I don’t know if it helped with how dry my hair became after I dyed it.
Would I Repurchase? Probably not. I am sure there are other products that might do a better job.
Head and Shoulders Apple Fresh Shampoo and Conditioner
Verdict: This shampoo smells amazing. I love it. It makes my hair feel really good and helps with the dryness.
Would I Repurchase? I definitely would. I use this all the time.
