My Everyday (Work) Makeup Products

Since I started my new job I wear makeup more regularly. Usually I wear the same products everyday with only a few that are different.

I start with the Almay Clear Complexion™ Makeup. I went to Clicks and I asked one of the ladies there to help me find a foundation that matched the colour of my skin. She tried this foundation in the shade Buff and it matched! I am quite pale so she tried a few before she found this one. It was a bit pricier than what I was looking to spend but I only realised this once I was paying for it and it actually looks so good that I don’t mind that it is a bit pricey!

After I have put my foundation on I set it with the Essence All About Matt! Fixing Powder. The reason I bought this powder was because the other powder I was using left my face looking…well a tad orange. I love this powder because it sets my makeup perfectly and my makeup stays the entire day! You can tell how much I use this powder by the fact that you can see the bottom of the container!

The next thing that I do is put my eyeshadow on. At the moment I have been loving my Signature Naked Palette – a very good dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette. The quality is amazing and they are so sparkly, which I love. I am a teacher and I don’t really like wearing dark eye makeup to school so I usually mix about 3 of these colours together – although I never use the last 2 colours for work.

Signature Naked Palette

Unfortunately Signature don’t have a website but here are some dupes that you can have a look at:

Lovatics By Demi Eyeshadow Palette

MUA Undressed Palette

W7 Eye Colour Palette, “In The Buff” Lightly Toasted

Almay, Rimmel London, MAC

The second last thing that I put on is my mascara. At the moment I move between three different mascaras and I love them all. The first one is the Almay Intense i-Colour volumizing mascara™ – I use the one in Sapphire for Blue Eyes. This one is great because it really brings out my blue eyes which I love! The next one is the  Rimmel London Extra 3D Lash mascara. I love this one because it separates the lashes and does not clump at all which is great! The last one I rotate between is the MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara. This one is great because it gives the illusion of having thicker lashes which is always appreciated!

My lips are the last thing I do and I usually use a different lip gloss or lipstick every day. I could not photograph them all so I chose this one as I wore it today. It is one of my favourites at the moment and is the Essence XXXL shine lipgloss in Fabulous Fuchsia!

So… I tried to take a photo of myself wearing this look but the light was actually too bright to show it properly. A blogger complaining about too much light?!? It happens haha! But here is a photo of me anyway – I promise it looks better in real life 😉

I wear a bit more makeup when I am not at work and am currently trying to be more adventurous. I love makeup and I have so much I haven’t tried yet so I am already thinking about doing an updated version of this post!

Thank you so much! Ah I love the colours but it’s so expensive where I live so I’m holding off on buying it for now haha!

Wow the Naked Signature palette is an amazing dupe for UD Naked. Your makeup looks lovely, I’ve never heard of Almay before.
