Make Up Review: Accessorize Lip Tint and Balm

Accessorize Lip Balm

Before I found these lip tint and balms I had no idea that Accessorize actually made make up. I usually skip their section because their prices are so expensive where I live. The only reason I found these was because I was in Clicks ( the South African equivalent of Boots) and I found a few items that they had on sale.

These stunning lip crayons from Accessorize were only R10 each (around 50p) so they were a great bargain! I took all 3 colours that they had and I am so happy that I did.

L-R: Red Hot, All Glam, Sweet Kiss

These crayons, apart from being absolutely stunning colours, glide onto your lips so smoothly and the colour stays for a long time. I had never used lip crayons before but they are so easy to use and they felt a lot glossier than a normal lipstick. The only downside to these is that they aren’t as dark as lipstick and they are a little bit sheer. They are also great for people that don’t like lipstick as they are rather light on the lips.

I looked for these online so I could link them below but I could not find them. Probably because they were on sale in South Africa which means the rest of the world stopped buying them ages ago. The struggles of living here sometimes, I tell you! I have however found other lip crayons that are a similar colour which will hopefully be easier to find!

I love the way Accessorize designs their products, however the first time I went into their store, some woman came right up to me, prevented me from entering and told me “I didn’t belong there. Nothing was for me and I should leave”. I had only just moved to the area, and it really upset me. I vowed never to give them my money ever and have continued to do so 10 years later.

Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that! I cannot believe someone would be so cruel! That is so uncalled for.
