It’s a new year, which means that school has started up again and life is crazy busy. During January I honestly did not get out much so all of my favourites are beauty related. Whoops! I’ll leave links at the bottom of the post so that you can have a look at what I am loving!
Essence I <3 Extreme Mascara
I received this mascara in my Essence Advent Calendar and I am so glad that I did! It is amazing! It lengthens my lashes so much and gives them so much volume. It was the first Essence mascara that I tried and now I cannot wait to try some more!
Shell Makeup Brush Holders
Okay so these aren’t actually specifically for makeup brushes but it is why I bought them. I thought they (I have 2) would be perfect; and they are. These come from Typo and I picked them up during a sale. They are so pretty and can be used for loads of different things.
Signature Naked Palette
This is a ridiculously good dupe of the Urban Decay Naked Palette but at a fraction of the price. I have been reaching for this almost every day for work because it is stunning and the colours stay on all day. Unfortunately I think that Signature is only available in South Africa but I have linked an alternative down below as well.
Wet ‘n Wild Bronzer
I only recently started using bronzer but I love it. The one that I use is in the shade Ticket to Brazil. This is the only one that I have so I use it all the time but it is such a lovely colour and doesn’t go on too strong either. I am, however, looking for tips on how to apply it so that it looks natural?!
Zara Black Peony Perfume
I received this as a gift from a friend and I have been in love with it ever since. I had to buy a new one recently because my old one was finished. It has such a lovely smell and stays on for such a long time. Also, the packaging is gorgeous!

I’m in love with the packaging on the ZARA perfume! I’m always looking for new perfumes to try, this one looks perfect! The shell organiser is gorgeous too, I’m sure they’d look great with coloured pens inside!
