I was looking for blog post inspiration for today’s post when I got a phone call to tell me that my Takealot order would arrive later in the day. That seemed like a sign to me so I decided to show you what I received.
Beauty
Everything I bought in the way of beauty came from Essence. Now I know that I could have gone to the shop and bought these but online shopping is so much easier. It is also cheaper in some instances. Apart from the products below I also bought an Essence eye shadow but it was completely smashed when it arrived 🙁 I tweeted them about it and they replied in 4 minutes which is great! However it is one small eye shadow and doesn’t seem worth the effort of sending it back and waiting for a new one.
All I Need Concealer Palette
I have heard mixed reviews about this concealer palette but I have been looking for something like this for a while so I thought that I would try it out. I am very excited to see if it will work on my skin as well. If you would like a review on this then let me know!
Eyebrow Tweezers
I have 3 pairs of tweezers and I cannot find any of them so buying a new pair seemed necessary. The product is not the same colour as the one on the website but it is so much prettier that I don’t even mind! I mean how beautiful are these?!
Kajal Pencil in Number 25 – Feel the Mari-Time
This is the second kajal pencil I have bought from Essence. What I love about this specific colour is that it comes out exactly the same colour as the packaging. This means no nasty surprises when you put it on. It also glides on relatively smoothly.
Quick Dry Top Coat
I always seem to smudge my nail polish so I am hoping that this will prevent that. I am excited to try this out and perhaps even do a review on it. I have been looking for polish like this for a while and this was on special so it made sense to start with this one.

The Longest Ride
I watched this movie with some friends and I fell in love. When I found it on Takealot for a reasonable price I knew that I had to buy it. Have you watched this movie? I would definitely recommend it.
Complete Peter Rabbit Library Collection
This collection makes me feel like a child again. This was so inexpensive and when I saw it knew that I needed it. There are 23 books in total and they are hardcover which is amazing! It was also so difficult to take a photo of this because the box is quite big!
